Dr. Ying Bai is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU). Before joining JCSU, Dr. Bai worked as a senior software engineer in the field of automatic control and testing equipment in Silicon Valley, California, and Columbus, Ohio. About the Author

MEHMET TOY, PhD, is a Distinguished Engineer at Comcast and represents the company in the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and IEEE standards. Previously, he held management and technical positions at ADVA Optical Networking, Intel Corporation, Verizon Wireless, Axiowave Networks, Fujitsu Network Communications, AT&T Bell Labs, and Lucent Technologies. Dr. Toy contributed to the research, development and standardization of various telecommunication technologies including IP Multimedia System (IMS), Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), optical, IP/MPLS, and wireless.
