Angela Marsons outdid herself with Dead Memories! Addictive and Gripping is absolutely correct. And the zinger ending is fabulous. I never saw it coming.I love the usual cast of characters. They all blend so well, even the recent addition of Penn. I did not like Alison at first, but she grows on you. I love Dr.A! She is a wonderful creation of Ms Marsons, down to her long lab coat and Doc Martens. I love her banter.Anybody not familiar with this series can start with Dead Memories and then continue to the first book. It is a intriguing series, well written and very hard to put down. I am going to start from the beginning to refresh my mind of all the pivotal cases that come back to haunt the team in Dead Memories. It will be interesting reading them from a whole different angle.I hope we have many more installments of the Kim Stone series.

Absolutely brilliant! I seriously could not put it down! I have been a huge fan of Angela Marsons’ since book 1. Her characters are so relatable and yet complex. I think some of the things I love most about her writing is the quick pace, the constant changes, the added suspense of other plots/cases, the many potential villains, and the way the team puts the pieces together to solve the case; it’s always insightful, but never discloses too much. She is a brilliant, exciting, and talented writer; if you ever read your reviews here Ms. Marsons....please write faster...I need another quickly, as I am full-blown addicted!

Although it was a good story I found that I was annoyed by the constant use if sentences never allowed to finish. A character would start to say something and not be able to finish. With only part of the sentence there would be a series of dots ......... Or _________ only to have someone interrupt with their comment. This really got to be bothersome, atleast in my opinion. Also too many characters that it was hard to follow.

Kim and her team are called to investigate the apparent overdose of two young adults. When they arrive on the scene, they find the victims handcuffed to a radiator, one dead and the other barely hanging on. Kim is struck by how this scene almost mirrors a significant event from her past. Is this just an unfortunate coincidence? Or is someone trying to hurt Kim in the worst way possible? Angela Marsons is just flat out, ridiculously awesome. I love that she came up with this concept as a way to "celebrate" the tenth book in this series. I can't read them fast enough and die a little inside every time I have to wait for the newest one to come out. Can't wait to see what comes next!

Angela Marsons did not let me down in this 10th installment of the Kim Stone series! This author writes these books with so many twists and turns. I truly did not who was behind the murders connected to Kim’s past and that is what keeps me coming back for each new installment.I appreciate the way Kim is becoming softer in each book and how she truly cares about her team. She always puts herself in harms way but comes out the better for it. This book is emotionally charged and worth every word read.Looking forward to number 11!

I love this series. Kim really grows on you and by now we can understand why she behaves the way she does She was a hard one to like 9 books ago. I love the team. Penn has filled the void we felt when Dawson died. He has quite a different personality and he is smart, passionate and caring. Stacie and Bryant are the best and fearcely loyal to Kim. Keep the stories coming Angela.

From the first chapter, I was held captive and couldn't put the book down. I love DI Stone's gritty talent for solving the most challenging cases. I couldn't predict the antagonist no matter how hard I tried. Angela Marsons' attention to detail and character development is examples of the talent she brings to each book she writes. Always looking forward to the next one.

Followers of the Detective Kim Stone series will not be disappointed. Angela Marsons has created a story that will pull you along like a freight train! Characters and cases from Kim's past as well as events from her horrific childhood crash together and threaten to overwhelm her. Kim has to try to keep it together in order to guide the team to stop a killer whose end game is to kill Kim.
